Participation In International Conference:

(Emory University, Atlanta)

On behalf of United Nations Youth and Student Association Nepal, its President Mr. Sanjay Bir Thapa attended the International Conference on "Re-envisioning Leadership for a Hope-filled Futures" held in Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia from September 12-14, 2008. Participants from different countries of the world participated at the conference.

Mr. Sanjay Bir Thapa played an important role at the panel discussion during the conference. He laid stress on the important role of youth in building a world based on harmony, peace, social justice, human rights and hunger free world. The conference was a milestone in discussing the important topics like religion, peace, conflict, poverty, human rights, nonviolence etc to built a better world. Mr. Thapa met a number of people from different countries of the world.

His participation at the conference was of great importance to him and the other members of Association. The deliberation which took place during the conference was very meaningful and fruitful.
